Annual 天涯社区官网 Move Out off this year, but students can still donate locally
The annual St. Bonaventure Move Out Sale will not be held this year, but students are still encouraged to donate items they choose not to take home to local donation centers.
鈥淭he university calendar is just quirky this year, and doesn鈥檛 allow us enough time to properly set up, conduct the sale, and tear it back down,鈥 said Alice Miller Nation, director of University Ministries.
鈥淭he limited time between Commencement, which is a week later than normal, and the annual Alumni Reunion presents a challenge too difficult to overcome. We considered holding it after Reunion, but we just couldn鈥檛 get enough students back in June to assist with the effort because too many will have already started their summer jobs.鈥
However, students can still make a difference by donating their unwanted items to one of three local agencies. Students are asked to abide by the items these organizations are able to accept, highlighted below.
