The Bachelor of Arts in Content Creation program at St. Bonaventure prepares students to thrive in today鈥檚 digital-first communication world. You鈥檒l learn to craft compelling stories, manage online communities, and produce multimedia content that informs, entertains and inspires.

The creator economy is surging: full-time digital creator jobs in the U.S. soared from approximately 200,000 in 2020 to 1.5 million in 2024 鈥 a 7.5 脳 increase 鈥 according to a recent report by the . 

As content creation and visual storytelling become central across industries, this program positions you directly for that growth.

In our BA in Content Creation, you will complete 400 hours of internship experience 鈥 a requirement consistent across all majors in the Jandoli School. The school鈥檚 dedicated internship coordinator will guide you in securing meaningful placements both on campus and off. Meanwhile, you鈥檒l also gain hands-on opportunities through our many campus media outlets.

    St. Bonaventure University鈥檚 School of Communication and School of Business will host a Zoom discussion about gender, jobs and money with personal finance journalist Farnoosh Torabi on Nov. 5.

    The program, 鈥淕ender, Jobs & Money: A conversation about media, business and society,鈥 will be moderated by Aaron Chimbel, dean of the Jandoli School of Communication, and Dr. Matrecia James, dean of the School of Business. The event begins Nov. 5 at 11:30 on Zoom. Advance registration is required at .

    Farnoosh TorabiTorabi has been a contributing editor for Oprah Magazine & NextAdvisor, host of a primetime show on CNBC, creator of the Webby-nominated podcast So Money, and a bestselling author. Torabi鈥檚 work and advice have been featured in The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, Fortune, Forbes, Time, Marie Claire, Glamour, Redbook and USA Today. She appears on major news and talk shows, including TODAY, CNN, MSNBC, Good Morning America, Dr. Oz, and The View.

    鈥淲e are fortunate to have this nationally-recognized expert talk with our students,鈥 Chimbel said. 鈥淔arnoosh is a dynamic speaker and insightful professional who will help students think deeply about these important topics.鈥

    Torabi鈥檚 podcast So Money has surpassed 14 million downloads with listeners in more than 200 countries, thanks to its one-of-a-kind interviews and deep conversations about money. On the show, she spotlights leading experts, authors and influencers 鈥 from Arianna Huffington to Margaret Cho, Queen Latifah and Tim Gunn 鈥 about their financial perspectives, money failures and habits. She also answers listeners鈥 personal financial questions each week.

    The journalist graduated with honors from Pennsylvania State University with a degree in finance and international business. She also holds a master鈥檚 degree from Columbia University鈥檚 Graduate School of Journalism.

    This event is made possible by the Endowment for Excellence in Business Journalism, which was created by Janet Bodnar and John Linnehan in 2018 to support the Jandoli School in business-focused areas of journalism and communication.
