Darwin L. King, professor of Accounting, Dr. Carl J. Case, professor of Management, and Michael L. McLanahan, lecturer in Accounting, received a request from a senior analyst for the U.S. Government Accountability Office (GAO) for a copy of a paper published by the trio last year. 

The paper, “A History of the Dirty Dozen: How Dirty Do They Get?,” traces the history of scams perpetrated against taxpayers. The GOA will use the paper in its 18-month, large-scale review of federal revenue fraud, King said, noting the authors will receive a copy of the fraud report upon its completion.
