Dr. Pamina Abkowitz and Dr. Kathryn Andrews, assistant professors of Elementary Education, and Dr. Ren茅 Hauser, dean of the School of Education (center), recently attended the Visible Learning+ Institute in Wisconsin.
The one-day institute presented on the Visible Learning Impact Model, a schoolwide system improvement process that helps educators understand and evaluate their impact on student learning.
Their goal is to implement the framework鈥檚 high-impact practices into faculty professional development and the program鈥檚 curriculum as they take a measured approach in evolving educator training.
The Visible Learning Impact Model aligns with the school鈥檚 strategic plan initiatives of prioritizing and investing in faculty success and reputation through pedagogical improvements.
