The Arthur O. Eve Higher Education Opportunity Program at St. Bonaventure University announced the winners of two annual awards today. Aminata Fofana, a senior political science major, won the Margaret T. Bryner HEOP Scholarship. Rafael Quezada, a senior strategic communication major, received the Alexis Reyes Franciscan Spirit Award.

The Jandoli Institute has launched a new project that identifies the qualities of good speeches. “We reached out to people who deliver speeches, people who write speeches, people who cover speeches and people who study speeches,” said Richard Lee, the institute’s executive director.

Since spring 2016, the number of students in St. Bonaventure University’s fully online graduate programs has grown almost twelvefold, from 50 to 585 in 2021. That growth has been vital at a challenging time for small, private institutions.
